FENCE project: The Review Paper

FENCE ReviewPaperThe Review Paper, presents the analysis and evaluation on gender equality and fight against gender bias. The paper arises from the research on training and learning needs in adult education in this topic within the organisations.

The methods and tools used for the review are interviews with experts, desk research, focus groups and online surveys.

The results of the review are depicted in a description of the situation in FENCE partner countries. This includes a general framework, the training methodological models regarding gender equality, an analysis of the learning needs, the profile of trainees in gender equality and the analysis and assessment of the existing learning environments. The research also provides a collection of 12 best practices, a section of conclusions, and literature and resources.

In2C European project 3rd Newsletter published

In2C Newsletter ENThe third Newsletter of the European project In2C (Integration of Third Country Nationals in the Construction Sector) is now available. There, you will find the latest news and progress of the project.

This third Newsletter is marked by the current situation related to Covid-19. A new scenario to which the project partners must adapt, seeking new ways of working to continue advancing in the different programmed actions.

In the Newsletter you will find information related to the Focus Group held in the 4 partner countries to assess the training materials that will be offered to the TCNs participating in the project. In addition, this Newsletter publishes news related to the progress in work packages (WP) 4, 5, 6 and 7, and with the next steps to follow.

The European In2C project aims to integrate immigrants into the Construction Sector and for this an innovative methodology is being finalized based on a Training Package (Technical Vocabulary, Terminological Glossary, Labor Legislation and Occupational Health and Safety) on-site and online, through the SOnAT platform, which wants to be a meeting point between employers and TCNs looking for a job opportunity in the Sector.

 Third Newsletter In2C

Three Focus Groups developed within the In2C project to assess their training materials

In2C Focus GroupDuring the last weeks, DOCUMENTA developed three Focus Groups with professionals from different entities, who evaluated the training materials that will be used in the following phases of the In2C project "Integration of Third Country Nationals in the Construction Sector".

The Focus Groups were composed of professionals who work in Local Development Agencies of various municipalities of Cantabria, of the Workshop Schools, personnel of organizations such as the Red Cross or La Columbeta and by possible beneficiaries of the project, among others.

InCommon Toolbox project, findings and results

InCommonCorazonThe InCommon Toolbox project (2018-2020) implemented an individualized guidance pathway for 468 migrant women, TCNs, and refugees for the exercise of citizenship through participation in culture of the host community.

This was carried out in a four stage process conceptually supported at 3 levels:

1. Individual, through personal counselling and actions for empowerment and personal development of migrant women through training on Key Competences of the European Reference Framework and Leadership.

2. Professional, on the basis of the methodology of Cultural Citizenship Scale (CCS) and the InCommon Toolkit, both outcomes of the project.

3. Community, with the creation of a local stakeholder’s network and the organisation of interventions at local level that enabled the interaction of the network and the active citizenship of migrant women through the cultural and educative resources of the host community.
