DOCUMENTA participates in the third meeting of the Famskill project

BeOldCracoviaDOCUMENTA attended the third meeting of the European project Famskill in which it is participating as a partner together with entities from other countries. The meeting was held on 23 and 24 October in Krakow (Poland). The meeting was attended by a total of 10 participants from Turkey, Romania, Poland and Slovenia, as well as Spain.

During the meeting, the project partners discussed issues related to the development and status of Intellectual Output 2, which consists of the development of a family learning curriculum with contents of mathematics, ICT and reading and writing to improve the basic skills of those people with a low educational level. On the other hand, other issues related to this IO2 were also addressed, such as what will be the next activities that the partners have to carry out in the coming months.


DOCUMENTA organized the EPHT event "Tourism, a world of opportunities"

EventTurismoEPHTOn September 26, Documenta organized a multiplier event under the title "Tourism, a world of opportunities: The tourism sector facing the challenge of training and employment in the 21st century".

The event, which took place at the Magdalena Palace, was organized within the framework of the Erasmus + Employer Program for Hospitality and Tourism (EPHT) project and was a success in terms of participation, with 215 registered attendants from different fields of the tourist sector (students, professors, entrepreneurs, representatives of tourist offices and Local Development Agencies ...)


Documenta presents the MINGLE project at the association La Columbeta (Solares)

aDocumenta imparted a workshop on social intervention with an intercultural perspective for volunteers. During this space, the president of the organization, Javier Farto, explained to the attendees the MINGLE project, Generating Social and Human Capital for Third Country Nationals. The suitability of the context meant that the people who attended were really interested in the content of the project and the activities designed within the program's roadmap.


Workshop on Interculturality for volunteers within the InCommon project


Late August, Documenta delivered the first edition of the workshop on Interculturality for volunteers within the project InCommon, Cultural and Educational Interventions for the exercise of the Active Citizenship of Migrant Women. The workshop, which lasted two days, is one of the activities of the InCommon project aimed at supporting volunteers and facilitating social inclusion of migrant women through cultural participation. The training was carried out in cooperation with La Columbeta from Solares, and its volunteers and staff were the beneficiaries of the training.

Attendants to the workshop acquired key concepts for working in intercultural context, as well as effective communication methods and management of emotions and feelings. In addition, there was an approach to theories on migration and conflictology in situations of cultural exchange, allowing a better understanding of the process to enable the volunteer to act in a more effective way. Finally, the course focused on the use of culture and arts as a way to enhance social inclusion.
