Since November 2024, DOCUMENTA has been part of the KA220 project consortium – Partnerships for Cooperation in Vocational Education and Training, TackleDisInfo, coordinated by the European network Tandem Plus and with the participation of other European organizations: Attiko (Greece), Out of the Box (Belgium) and Connect your City (Cyprus). This partnership will work together over the next two years with the main objective of educating and equipping educators with the necessary skills to confront disinformation and promote digital literacy, an essential basis for forming informed and critical digital citizens.
This new project in which DOCUMENTA is participating was approved in the March 2024 call and has very ambitious objectives, including the creation of a cutting-edge interactive digital platform that uses gamification techniques to educate, train and prepare educators to address digital misinformation and improve digital literacy.
During these first five months, three online meetings and a transnational Kick Off Meeting in Cyprus have already been held, laying the groundwork for the coming months and launching the first actions: national reports on the state of digital literacy in each partner country, focus groups to analyze the status of digital literacy and disinformation, as well as the main challenges we face. These initial steps will help the consortium design an innovative training package aimed primarily at educators and vocational trainers.
We will continue to provide updates on the project.
