On March 13 and 14, the partners of the «Participatory Schools of Energy Culture» project, coordinated by DOCUMENTA, held a new meeting—this time online—to review the progress of activities and plan new actions to be developed. The project is advancing at a good pace, and current efforts are focused on the following areas: the Energy Information Center with its various components; the Communication, Dissemination, and Awareness Manual; the Management Manual; the Evaluation and Quality Guide; and the project’s Website with its Virtual Environment (an online training platform) that will host the developed materials and resources in the project.

The online meeting provided an opportunity to assess the progress of various activities, share developed materials and resources, and address partners’ questions.

During the two-day meeting, the following topics were discussed: budget management and control, along with guidelines for preparing financial justification reports; presentation of the Evaluation and Quality Guide, as well as the Dissemination Manual, which includes all communication elements (logo, visual identity, templates, social media, etc.); and an analysis of the ongoing Work Packages (WP).

Regarding the WPs, the consortium continues to advance with the Energy Information Center (WP2), which will include National Reports about Energy Poverty, Best Practices in Energy Culture, National Progress Reports on the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda, a search engine for materials and resources, and a multilingual energy dictionary. WP2 also includes the Energy Education Program, where an initial outline of the syllabus for the two courses to be designed in the coming months was presented.

Meanwhile, WP3 focuses on the creation of an online platform and a Virtual Environment for Energy Culture. Although currently under development, it will soon be available, allowing project participants to access information, training, and engagement on energy-related topics such as ecological transition, climate change, and knowledge of the energy market.
