Second Transnational Meeting of the TACKLEDISINFO Project

Last October, the consortium of the Erasmus+ project “TackleDisInfo: Tackling Disinformation and Promoting Digital Literacy Through Education and Training” held its second transnational meeting in Athens. The aim of the meeting was to review the activities carried out so far—especially the analysis of the current situation regarding disinformation and digital literacy in the partner countries—and to plan the upcoming actions, with a focus on the development of a training programme that will help improve participants’ digital skills and their knowledge to fight disinformation in digital media.

For the past year, the TackleDisInfo project partners have been analysing the current state of disinformation and digital literacy in their respective countries (Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Belgium, and France) and developing a training programme aligned with the findings obtained through this research. Both the educational platform and the training programme—based on interactivity (gamification)—aim to contribute to improving participants’ digital competences and skills, as well as their ability to detect and combat disinformation.

Throughout this year, DOCUMENTA has taken part in various project activities: analyses and research, development of a training programme, organisation and facilitation of several focus groups, consortium meetings, and more.

In the coming months, everything will be ready to offer vocational education teachers and students an interactive and user-friendly training programme that will help improve their digital literacy competences.
